First time eating at Sandra's Seafood which is only two minutes off of i-16. Someone recommended this place and they let me know that the cheeseburgers are out of this world!! I got the fried shrimp dinner with FF and they were great. I tried the double cheeseburger and it was very good as well. The staff was very friendly. If you are traveling on i-16 and you need gas there is a gas station that semi trucks can stop and fuel up and it is walking distance from the gas station. If you are looking for great food and great service stop by and give this place a try.

Stopped by for the first time yesterday.
Having lived in the coastal area all my life I feel that I'm a good judge of seafood. Most reviewers say it's the best, however I don't think so. The batter fell off of my fried shrimp so I had a pile of greasy batter. The fried flounder was about the same, swimming in grease. I'll go back because I want to try the hamburger reviewers say is the best. Maybe it was just an off day, the cook, or something else. So I wont hit them too hard...I give 3 stars -

I drive all over the US and this is the kind of gem I love to find. It is a small building with a very friendly staff. Feels like a home town place. The seafood is fresh and hand breaded or grilled or sauteed and is excellent. It looks popular enough, full at 12:45. A great alternative to Interstate fare. Not fancy but very good. Serves lunch and dinner.

From the moment you drive up, you'll think it's a hole in the wall country cooking restaurant. Well, it sorta is. But it's clean, friendly, relaxing, and the food is really good. Try it once, you may just go back.

Not fancy. But, it's clean and has great food and even better service. We enjoy seeing the great employees each week as much as we enjoy the food. They seem to love their job and the customers. A Gem in North Bryan County.
